Thomas Nelson Reclaming the Lost Art of Bible Meditation book review – Rating: 9.1

Thomas Nelson's Reclaiming the Lost Art of Biblical Meditation - Find True Peace in JesusI was very intrigued when I saw a book about Biblical Meditation that was available for review from Thomas Nelson’s BookLook Blogger program.  It was refreshing to finally read a book that covers the topic of meditation from a correct Biblical perspective and one that covers it very well.  Robert J. Morgan did an excellent job writing this book and it really sheds light on how to deepen your relationship with the Lord through Biblical meditation.

I would give this book a 9.1 out of my normal 10 point rating scale.  On a “5 star” scale that some websites use, I would give it a 5 star rating.

In full disclosure, I was not required or requested by Thomas Nelson or BookLook Bloggers to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. Often, we think of meditation as an Eastern spiritualism or a tool of the New Age movement, but the honest truth  is that meditation, specifically Biblical meditation, is something that is spoken about many times in Scripture.  It helps provide a deeper intimacy with the Lord, by focusing on His Word and on the Lord Himself.  “Reclaiming the Lost Art of Biblical Meditation: Find True Peace in Jesus” is a quick read that is full of practical methods of how you can meditate on the Word of God and also provides a plethora of examples and recollections of people and how they personally have had Biblical meditation deepen their relationship with the Lord.  Full of Scripture and Quick Tips of different things you can do to meditate on His Word.  At the end of the book is a very well written 10-day guide that you can use to get you started with meditating on His Word.  This book by Robert J. Morgan is very well written and I would highly recommend you to get a copy for yourself.  I received a copy of this book in exchange for this review from BookLook Bloggers and all opinions are my own.
