Starting our Israel Trip – Hotel Life in Rockford and Getting Rest

Well, we are settled in at the hotel in Rockford after a nice dinner with 2 of our daughters and grandson at  Texas Roadhouse in Rockford.  Gotta love a good rib eye steak!  Yum!  While waiting to be seated, we met a young family who had quite the animated little 2-year-old who they called Dilly.  I think his name was Dillon, but Dilly fit his personality very well.  My mother-in-law (Nana) called him “Popcorn” with how energetic and bouncy that cute little guy was.  Lol

With our goodbyes said to our daughters and grandson, we got checked in and are settling in for a restful night’s sleep.  Then, tomorrow morning…. let the games begin!  We have a long day of travel to get to Israel, but we are looking so forward to it.  It honestly doesn’t seem quite real yet.
More to come tomorrow at some point (assuming I can get wi-fi somewhere).
