Inductive Bible Study Training Class week 1 of 10

This is the first week of the ten week Inductive Bible Study training class that I conducted at our church (http://www.saukchurch.com/).  These videos were recorded from the first session of these classes starting back in January of 2015.  A huge, thankful shout-out goes out to Pastor Ron Jones from Faith at Sellersville Baptist Church in Sellersville, PA for his inspiration for me to conduct these classes.  He also graciously allowed me to use some of his material as well as format for the class.  Thanks, Pastor Ron!  In this week’s class, we give an introduction to the Inductive Bible Study method and start reviewing cultural differences as well as translation topics.

Homework Assignment for Week 1:

Read Philippians chapter 1 and do the observation steps using the Precept guide (Appendix 1 – see resources below) and the Camden Inductive marking guide (Appendix 4 – see resources below).  Feel free to use my Observation Quick Tips as well if you find it helpful (also in the resources below).
